Calling all Marines and FMF Corpsmen. Join with us in this growing and dynamic detachment. Marines from all eras are welcome be you visiting MCL member, newly retired / discharged, back from overseas, or just interested in the Marine Corps League after many years of separation from the Marine Corps. Continue on the Esprit de Corps and what it means. Once a Marine always a Marine.

Projects we participate in every year are the Color Guard at the Flagler Government Center on Memorial Day & Veterans Day, placing of flags at veteran’s cemeteries, the July 4th parade, 9-11 ceremonies, the winter Holiday Starlight Parade at the Town Center and many other functions at area clubs and venues celebrating the veterans of Flagler County.

In addition, we have instituted our very own Marine Mail program to send packages of needed items to our Marines in the war zones. If you know of a Flagler County Marine serving in harms way please provide his or her name and address.

We look forward to the challenges of 2012 serving Marines and the citizens of Flagler Country. Past projects completed and to be renewed in the new year include supporting summer camp for kids, backpacks for school kids, Summer & Fall Charity Picnics, the Marine Corps Ball with commemorative tribute book, the annual Detachment Installation of Officers / Christmas party, the Toys for Tots program, monthly visits to the Veterans' Nursing Home and staffing recruitment booths at the Flagler Home Show and the Princess Place Park summer Arts & Craft show.

Thanks to all our Marines and guests who helped us celebrate at the 2011 Marine Corps Birthday Ball. The event was a complete sell out with this year's ceremony celebrating Korean veterans, followed by a delicious meal and dancing to oldie tunes from our favorite band. Oorah!
